One time donation
General donations will be used to help support vital LifeLine Shanghai programs where the money is needed most. Alternatively, you can request that your money be directed toward a specific program, such as our telephone helpline, YouthLink, or CollegeLink.

In-kind donation
Individuals and businesses can support LifeLine Shanghai with gifts in kind or goods and services for our operational activities, such as office equipment or your expertise in professional areas. Books, both new and used, may be dropped of at the Hu & Hu Antiques Hongqiao location . These books will then be sold for 10RMB each to the public, with all proceeds benefiting LifeLine Shanghai.
Additionally, LifeLine Shanghai hosts several fundraising events throughout the year, including the Health Fair, YouthLink Fair, and Anniversary Party. If you or your company would be interested in donating goods or service vouchers to any of these events, please contact us at 6279 7943 or by email at info@lifelineshanghai.com.
Great Wall Marathon
Every year in May, a team of LifeLine Shanghai supporters participates in the Great Wall Marathon, either completing the full marathon, half marathon, or 10km distances. If you would like to support this annual effort by either making a donation or joining our team, please contact us by either calling the administration office at 6279 7943 or by emailing info@lifelineshanghai.com.
In memory of someone
When someone close to us dies, we experience grief, sadness, and ultimately, an appreciation of all the memories we have of that special person. Memorial donations can be a thoughtful way to remember a loved one while giving support and life to those who remain.
How memorial donations are processed
- Letter expressing condolences and appreciation: The next of kin/nearest family member of the person who has died is sent a letter expressing condolences and special thanks to the names of all those who kindly made memorial donations (the donation amount is not mentioned).
- Receipts for all donors: Everyone who makes a memorial donation is sent a letter of thanks and receipt.
