LifeLine Shanghai offers members of the Shanghai international community the opportunity to become involved in this worthwhile and vital service within the community. LLS expects all of it's staff members and core team participants to complete the New Volunteer Training. This means that all our staff and volunteers are known as 'Friends" . Having all our staff and core team members completing the New Volunteer Training, means they are fully aware of the program, vision and mission of Lifeline Shanghai. At LLS the Friends of LifeLine can be working as a telephone volunteers or having done the training, are working out in the community in Outreach, Fundraising and in a variety of administrative roles. They may not be working on the telephone. To protect the confidentiality of our telephone volunteers, all those working within the organization are called 'Friends of Lifeline'
If you are interested in becoming a Friend of LifeLine, please contact LLS thought the links below. After your training you will be well equipped to meet the needs of those who call the helpline. But if you would rather not recieve calls there are many other fulfilling roles within LLS. What better way to enhance your Shanghai experience than to help others cope successfully with the challenges they face?
