    Position summary

    This position holds the overall responsibility for organising, facilitating and updating twice yearly workshops and an annual social for the YouthLink program.  This requires attendance and facilitation at all workshops and the year-end social. 

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Establish training needs in collaboration with ED, PM, and YouthLink members.
    2. Establish, implement and evaluate twice yearly workshops along with the PM.
    3. Plan and implement annual YouthLink Social.
    4. Liaise with YouthLink members and faculty mentors on a regular basis, including regular visits to the schools.
    5. Collate information from monthly YouthLink meetings and publish a monthly YouthLink newsletter to be emailed to all participants.
    6. To work in collaboration with ED and PM on ongoing program development, including maintaining a high profile within schools and recruiting students for the next academic year.
    7. Attend team and program meetings.
    8. Mentor students on the creation and execution of annual fundraising/awareness-raising project.

    Duties

    1. Organise all aspects of workshops including venue, speakers, participants, content and delivery.
    2. Organise all aspects of YouthLink social, including venue, food, and beverages.
    3. Organise, maintain and update workshop materials.

    Essential Job Requirements

    Education / Experience

    1. Experience working with children
    2. Training experience
    3. Experience in volunteer and/or non-profit work desirable

    Required Skills

    1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate well to teenagers
    2. Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
